NATIONAL PALACE MUSEUM –
SOUTHERN BRANCH
Chiayi County, Taiwan, 2003–05
A jury of eight international and local experts chose Lord Cultural Resources as Planning and Develop-ment Consultants for the National Palace Museum's southern branch to be located in Chiayi County in south central Taiwan. Lord Cultural Resources led a large team of experts from Canada, the United States, Europe and Asia to conduct comprehensive master planning and functional planning for the proposed museum and its site. We also planned the international architectural competition for this project that selected American architect Antoine Predock who is now designing the Museum, due to open in 2008.
